“ We decided to try this place out as we were traveling through. I have to say that I was not disappointed! The food was excellent and it was huge portions at a very reasonable price. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Just a nice down-home atmosphere. Very relaxing and pleasant. Now that I know about this place, I will keep it on my radar for the next time we are traveling through. I don't typically do reviews, but this was worth taking a little time to do one. ”

“ Great food and that's the main reason to eat out. The service was slow and difficult to get the waitresses attention for a water refill and napkins. The diner shows it's age with a lot of wear and tear. Portions were large and the Catfish and chicken fry tasted hand breaded. ”

The banana pudding wasn’t overly sweet and had a great balance. The overall cafe was quite clean and charming. Jakourtny is an outstanding waitress. “ The chicken fried steak was fantastic! Everything was. We were a party of 10, that didn’t call ahead, but they seated us right away. Courtney W. was an amazing waitress! She was ahead of her game and treated us with patience and kindness. One of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. Food was served quickly and hot. “ I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to this amazing restaurant. I was just passing through with my three kids and our dog, and finding a place to eat together was a challenge. Not only did they warmly welcome us, but they also allowed our dog to join us, which was such a relief. While we were seated in the back, it was perfectly fine, and the overall experience more than made up for it. The staff here are absolutely wonderful—kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. And the food? Simply outstanding! Also forgot to mention the foot is super affordable!!! If you’re looking for a place with great food and even better service, this is it. Highly recommend! ”

We all three had catfish and it was delicious. The price was great, too, for the amount of food and it arrived quickly. Service was very good and all the staff were friendly.
